This Urban Photo Safari begins at Place Garibaldi, known for its colorful facades and Italian-inspired architecture, an ideal spot to practice composition and architectural photography.
The tour continues through Vieux-Nice, the city’s historic center, featuring streets like Rue du Marché, Rue de la Préfecture, and Rue Saint-François de Paule. Here, vibrant facades, artisan shops, and local markets offer numerous photogenic scenes to develop your photographic eye.
Next, you will visit Castle Hill, offering panoramic views of Nice and the Baie des Anges. Beyond the main lookout, the east side of the hill presents unique photographic angles less frequented by tourists.
Descending to the Promenade des Anglais, you will capture the bay’s curve, the lines of surrounding buildings, and Mediterranean light—ideal for perfecting composition and framing iconic seafront images.
The tour concludes at Port Lympia, a quieter harbor area with colorful boats and pastel buildings, providing a distinctive Mediterranean ambiance. Between May and September, a free harbor crossing by boat is included.
