Description
Departing central Nice at 9:30 AM, your small group (maximum 8 guests) will travel in air-conditioned comfort to the renowned Côtes de Provence wine region. The day includes visits to three distinct family-owned estates, where you will taste around 15 wines including rosé, powerful reds, and aromatic whites.
The morning visit is to a historic château estate dating back over two thousand years, offering a private guided cellar tour and detailed insight into Provençal winemaking. Your guide will lead a mini-masterclass on wine tasting techniques and the characteristics of the region’s wines, including advice on storage, serving, and pairing with local specialties.
Lunch is planned in a nearby medieval Provençal village on the village square, allowing time to dine independently (lunch cost approximately 25 to 30 euros including wine, not included in the tour price).
After lunch, the second vineyard features a well-established family estate known for supporting local artists. Explore the cellars and vineyards before tasting red, white, and rosé wines on the terrace.
The final vineyard visit includes organic, award-winning wines, beautiful gardens, and one of the region’s notable cellars, providing a memorable conclusion to the tour.
The tour returns to Nice between 5:30 and 6:00 PM.
