Description
The tour begins on the Moyenne Corniche, offering views of Villefranche-sur-Mer and the Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat peninsula. The first stop is Èze, a medieval village perched on a hill with cobbled streets leading to exotic gardens and castle ruins 427 meters above sea level. Here, you will visit the Fragonard perfume factory to learn about traditional perfume-making techniques.
Next, you travel through La Turbie, known for its expansive views over Monaco. You will see the Trophy of the Alps, a 50-meter Roman monument dedicated to Emperor Augustus dating back to 7 BC.
Upon arrival in Monaco, explore the old town, Le Rocher, with its sea views and harbor. Visit the Prince’s Palace and observe the Changing of the Guard at 11:55. Other sights include the neo-Romanesque Cathedral, where Monaco’s princes and Princess Grace are buried, and the Oceanographic Museum founded by Prince Albert I.
The tour ends in Monte Carlo, traveling along the Formula 1 Grand Prix circuit. Visit the Casino de Monte-Carlo, designed by Charles Garnier in 1878, and its gardens. View the Hôtel de Paris, a symbol of 19th-century elegance since 1864.
