Description
The tour begins in Grasse, a historic city known for its evolution from leather production to the perfume industry. You will explore its old town and visit the Fragonard factory for a guided presentation on fragrance creation.
Next, visit Gourdon, perched at 760 meters above sea level. Walk through the village’s restored buildings and craft shops, and explore a 13th-century castle with collections of ancient arms, 17th-century furniture, Aubusson tapestries, and sculptures. The castle’s gardens were designed by Le Nôtre.
