Description
This full-day tour explores Provence and the Southern Alps aboard a premium electric vehicle with a panoramic glass roof, offering uninterrupted views of the landscape. The electric motor’s quiet operation enhances the experience, allowing passengers to connect with the terrain as part of the journey.
The itinerary starts in Grasse, the historic center of French perfume, where guests experience the town’s heritage and traditions. From there, the route follows panoramic roads through the Provençal countryside and leads to the alpine scenery near the Verdon region via the legendary Route Napoléon.
In Castellane, an alpine village dominated by a cliffside chapel, visitors pause to appreciate the peaceful atmosphere at the gateway to the Verdon Gorge. The tour then continues along the famous Route des Crêtes, offering expansive views of limestone cliffs plunging into the turquoise Verdon River, often called the Grand Canyon of Europe.
Seasonally, the route passes through Provence’s iconic lavender fields. Later, guests explore Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, a village nestled between cliffs, known for its pottery, cobbled streets, and artisan workshops.
The tour proceeds to Lake Sainte-Croix, marking the entrance to the Verdon Gorge with its clear turquoise waters. From April 1 to October 31, a pedalo ride inside the gorge allows close-up views of the monumental cliffs. When weather conditions prevent this, additional time is spent at panoramic viewpoints.
The small-group format limits participants to seven guests, ensuring a relaxed pace and high-quality experience throughout the day.
