This gentle hike starts at the seaside and ascends to the perched medieval village of Roquebrune-Village. Visit the Château Grimaldi, one of France’s oldest castles, where significant moments in the history of the Grimaldi family of Monaco took place.

Experience one of the Côte d'Azur’s most distinctive villages with extensive views across the Principality of Monaco, Provence, and Italy. Follow in the footsteps of writer Romain Gary and other artists who drew inspiration here. The village is home to a monumental olive tree, the oldest in France at around 2,000 years old, along with a park containing numerous World War II bunkers.

This tour is especially recommended from 14 December to 7 January for its traditional living nativity scenes.
