Description

Over 1,000 years ago, Vikings from Scandinavia emerged as explorers and warriors navigating European seas in search of riches, new lands, and trade routes.

This exhibition recreates three centuries of Viking expeditions across Europe—from Scandinavia to England with William the Conqueror, through France, and into the Mediterranean.

Follow the journey of a young Viking leader as you move through the Ruins Room, a Viking camp, and the Banquet Hall. The experience concludes in the Dreams Room with a 360° video-mapping show.

Immersive features include large-scale projections, 3D spatial sound, historical reconstructions, atmospheric sets, and evocative scents that bring Viking culture to life.

Extend your experience with a virtual reality game developed in partnership with The Viking Planet in Oslo, where you become a warrior in a 360° raid.
