Local tip on booking

If you’re aiming for one of these top rated places, think about staying outside the absolute city centre. Areas like Liberation or Gambetta often have well-reviewed apartments and hotels at slightly lower rates, and you can easily hop on a tram or bus downtown. Also, when you read reviews, watch for comments about noise or accessibility. Some spots in the Old Town are fantastic but come with narrow streets and stairs, so they might not suit everyone. Planning this ahead saves hassle once you’re here.
